UNDESIGN THE REDLINE - DAYTON PUBLIC LIBRAY

A few months ago I had the pleasure to be the lead makeup artist for a production company that filmed “Undesign the Redline”. An exhibit at the Dayton Public Library.

Makeup for corporate shoots is more conservative, matte skin on both women and men. Where evening out the skin tone, cover blemishes and eliminate shine with powder consistently to prevent shine to prevent reflection on camera. Hence why it’s important not use shimmer, glitter or frosty makeup of any kind.

Undesign the Redline is an important, visually compelling exhibit that traces the tangled roots of governmental policies to the social issues we face today. It ignites discussion about race, wealth, opportunity, and power, with the goal of transforming the future.

Below are videos from the exhibit along with behind the scenes photos. To learn more about this exhibit visit daytonmetrolibrary.org/undesign-the-redline
